My name is Hangli Ge (葛杭丽 | 葛杭麗). I am currently a Project Associate Professor at the University of Tokyo. My research topics include ubiquitous computing, IoT, signal processing, spatio-temporal big data, knowledge graph, especially in the fields of smart city, traffic optimization, urban resillience, etc. I also have R&D experience in the telecommunication industry.

Integrating heterogeneous cyber-physical big data, from physical-world sensor observations (e.g., traffic, human mobility, and weather) to cyberspace data (e.g., reservation records, route/POI search records, and event calendars), for traffic and mobility prediction, congestion forecasting, demand estimation, and proactive optimization. The goal is to transform urban mobility management from reactive responses to predictive and proactive decision-making.
